Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship Goals

Fellows will be taught by highly qualified faculty

Fellows will have adequate clinical experiences to achieve a success in all aspects of care of craniofacial abnormalities

Patients will receive comprehensive care that represent the highest level of care possible for the patient and the circumstances

The program will provide a foundation of knowledge in advanced orthodontic care for patients with craniofacial abnormalities and educational experiences that are viewed as relevant by the fellows.

The program will provide a foundation of knowledge in providing advanced orthodontic care for patients with special care needs.

Fellows' educational experiences will include assignments for teaching of general dental, pediatric dental residents and oral surgery residents.

Fellows will engage in scholarly activity exemplified by participation in research or research-related effort.

Fellows will participate in research. Fellows will present research at a national meeting or for publication.

Fellows will collaborate with non-dental craniofacial providers.

The Program will strive to stimulate fellows' interest in community service.

The Program will strive to foster in its graduates to practice in under-served areas, to provide treatment to vulnerable populations and remain engaged in dental education.
